The concept of an afterlife is inhumane and immoral. Belief in the continuation of your "soul" or consciousness after death is wishful thinking. Belief in an afterlife devalues the one life that actually exists: this one.
Even assuming that that sign is authentic and not photoshopped, it is irrelevant. The class on prophecy is undoubtedly about prophecy that appears in the Bible, Old Testament prophecies about Jesus and New Testament prophecies about the end of the world and related matters.
It never ceases to amaze me that religious people will accept behaviors from old, dead, ignorant humans and their biographers that they never would accept from a living person. Just because you call it prophecy instead of fortune-telling or psychic precognition doesn't make it smell any less like baloney.
As for the sign, I don't think it's photoshopped, but some religious types do have a sense of humor. It wouldn't surprise me if the author knew what he was saying.
