The concept of an afterlife is inhumane and immoral. Belief in the continuation of your "soul" or consciousness after death is wishful thinking. Belief in an afterlife devalues the one life that actually exists: this one.

Hitchens Pwns Hannity
Hitchens is unstoppable. He is the master of pwnage.
He is unstoppable; and the book is a delightful satirical overview of the anti-theist landscape.
But in this brief video, I found myself wanting him to go beyond the "you haven't read anything..." comment, because Hannity starts with the weakest of all arguments - the cosmological argument. It would have been easy to debunk that in a couple of seconds.
Some creator is at hand. But it's not God as in the scripture. And man has essentially created himself. A replica from the origin of the chemical soup we're all coming from.

I take it that by "creator" you mean the natural properties of matter and energy. If thats the case, then I totally agree with you.
